    My favourite qoute

    By Pehon | July 26, 2007

From my idol, Warren Buffett, in an interview with CNBC reporters, I remember him saying last year, when the market was in a sharp correction, that he was starting to accumulate on falling stocks.

When asked why does he do that, he replied, not the exact words,

“The stock market is the only market, where when there’s a sale, all the customers run away. That should not be the way.”

In addition to that, when asked how did he build up his wealth with such a humble start, he said, again not the exact words,

“With the Dow Jones increasing from 50 in 1890s to 13,000 (+25,900%!), it wouldn’t be hard if you had started, and stayed vested from then.

Listen to the wise man. The self made billionaire.

People run away because they fail to see the true intrinsic value of a business, but instead focus too much on the share price. If one stays vested in a growing company which is recession-proof and has increasing earnings, then all I can say is the rewards will be fantastic !
