I’m glad to welcome a new Author, JL, to the blog. A few days back JL dropped a comment on my blog to offer some Technical Analysis.
JL fits right into the picture, where I’m lacking. Technical Analysis knowledge. And since I’ve started acknowledging the accuracy of good TA, I’ve decided that JL is the right person!
JL will be providing us with the Technical Analysis side of stock investment, while I’ll be providing my Fundamental Analysis side of the story.
Here’s a quick introduction from JL.
“First off, I’m only offering my opinion as a TA trader and I seldom do TAs for long-term picks. Looking for stuff to buy and hold is not my strength and style (and it doesn’t fit my budget), so this is done only for the purpose of interest, is not indicative and of course open for criticism/discussion. I’m still trying to learn from experts like PH with regard to identifying stocks with good fundamentals. What I do instead is to use his recommendations (which guarantee the quality of a stock so it won’t just fade into oblivion) and contra trade them my own way. Of these, Swiber, Tech Oil & Gas and UTAC especially have corresponded with my expectations big time recently.”
